The Beginning Of A New Dawn

Hey everyone, I'm now working on praticing my self to make our Mod, I will keep you guyz updated on what I'm working on. I'm basicly learning how to make a Mod and I'm using VS2008 (not the big pack I was going to get) to help me program the Mod.

It may and may not go as fast as I was planning but its a beginning, I'm currently at work and working on lots of projects. So, please be patient. I'll keep you guyz updated and I'm hoping that tonight I'll have a Demo of our game not fully finish but a basic game. Most of all the features are all going to be just like HL2 DM, because I want to work on small parts and make it bigger. I won't launch it to any download host. I'll give it to the Beta Testers, so they can try it out and find some bugs.

OK sounds good. I thought that later in the mod, to encourage the team testing. We could hold battles Devs vs. Testers to see who knows the game better :p. Anyways, good job! I wish you immense amounts of luck on your coding and stuff.

Thanks, but now for some reason I just encounter a problem, I'm sopose to compile some stuff for the mod. In one of my directorys they should be a folder named C:\mymod\bin and there isn't one and in that folder they should be a file named server.dll and client.dll and those file are needed to make a server or join a game.

Maybe you should remake it then? You couldn't have gotten very far.

I tryed it two times with two different VS. VS2008 and VS2005.

Not yet. I'm asking my Technical Adviser. He's going to check it our tomorrow.

In the guide it says that they will appear after compiling.

I know, I look in the the MyMod folder and din't see a bin folder.
